Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO / AGUAS CALIENTES
- Transfer from the hotel in Cusco to the train station in Ollantaytambo or Poroy. Then we board the EXPEDITION / INCA RAIL train to go to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
- Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel on your own. The town of Machu Picchu is very small, we recommend that you carry only the necessary luggage since there are no motorized vehicles in this city.
- Overnight stay at selected hotel.
DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU / AGUAS CALIENTES / CUSCO
- Start the day with a good breakfast at your hotel.
- At the time indicated by the guide we will pick you up at your hotel to go to the departure point of the bus to go to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Once in Machu Picchu, we will meet with the group to start the guided tour. After the tour, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes where we will have free time to enjoy our buffet lunch. We recommend enjoying one of the most medicinal hot springs in Peru during your free time.
- We board the train to Ollantaytambo or Ollantaytambo or Poroy.
- Upon arrival we will meet you at the train station in Ollantaytambo or Poroy for the transfer to Cusco.
